Our NY offices hosted on December 12, 2016, as part of the Israel American Counsel Breakfast Club, a breakfast with the former chief justice of the Israeli Supreme Court, Dr. Asher Grunis, who discussed Israel’s human rights policy.
Attorney Boaz Feinberg, head of Tax and Anti Money Laundering Department at ZAG-S&W, had lectured at the Year-end tax convention of the accounting firm Balas Yokel Parobek on the recent changes in the Israeli tax and anti-money laundering regulations and their impact on the conduct of financial institutions in Israel.
Our firm hosted the members of the Israel Directors Association. Adv. Finberg lectured on "Innovations in taxes and their impact on directors" and Adv. Slutzky lectured on "Being a director in a public company".
Graduates of the IDF`s 8200 unit visited the firm`s office in New York, as part of our activities in high-tech widespread in Israel and the United States. During the visit, there was a fascinating lecture of the Channel 2 news reporter Nitzan Horowitz, about the Presidential Election Coverage.

On November 31, 2015, our firm hosted a festive cocktail in collaboration with the investment bank Aegis Capital Corp, bringing together senior bankers and private companies that raised more than 10 million dollars, in addition to public companies.

The Pujiang Innovation Forum was held in Shanghai on October 27, 2015. This year, following the execution of a three-year innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation agreement between Israel and China, Israel was chosen as the forum’s country of honor. The firm’s corporate department advises SITI on its operations in Israel. Mr. Abe Keler, SITI CEO, and Mr. Roy Ginossar, ZAG’s delegate in Shanghai, participated in the opening ceremony.
A conference was held on November 8, 2015, for lawyers and general counsel on the subject of accessibility legislation and tools for its implementation. Adv. Tomer Raif, head of the firm’s litigation and tenders law department, provided a legal survey of the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law.

This program offered a condensed, sophisticated review of the tax and business issues that should be taken into account when parties sell and purchase a business operated through an S corporation.
