Adv. Ifat Nir-Katz is a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Capital Markets Department.

 

Mrs. Nir-Katz specializes in representing private and public companies in Israel, with unique expertise in the retail sector.

 

Mrs. Nir-Katz has extensive experience acting on behalf of public companies and leading complex commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private issuances, debt and equity financing, advising on issues of corporate governance as well as structural changes in large corporations.

 

In addition, Mrs. Nir-Katz has vast experience drafting various retail contracts (consignment, concession, parallel import), supervising raffles, advertisements, and providing professional guidance with respect to retailors’ conduct vis-à-vis consumers and the regulating authorities, including and specifically the Consumer Protection and Fair Trade Authority, with particular emphasis on compliance with the Consumer Protection Law and Regulations.

 

Mrs. Nir-Katz also provides ongoing advice and assistance in establishing and managing membership programs, registration with the Registrar of Databases, and offering guidelines for methods of engagement and direct marketing to members in compliance with the provisions of law.

 

Prior to joining ZAG-S&W Mrs. Nir-Katz served 9 years as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of a large public retail holding company, where she established and managed the legal department.
