ביום 23/05/2016 הרחיב שר הכלכלה, בנימין נתניהו, בצו הרחבה, את ההסכמה שהושגה בין ההסתדרות להתאחדות התעשיינים במסגרתה הוחלט כי החל מחודש יולי 2016 יעלה שיעור ההפקדה לקרן פנסיה ו/או לקופת ביטוח/ קופת גמל שאינה קרן פנסיה בשתי פעימות.
