China Offices – The Far East Grows Near

ZAG-S&W established offices in China over a decade ago, having recognized a clear demand from clients and investors seeking to break ground in the unique Chinese market.

The firm’s activity in China is headed by Adv. Tehila Levy-Lati, a resident of China who possesses in depth knowledge of Israeli and Chinese law, including Chinese culture in general and Chinese business culture in particular. Ms Levy-Lati is fluent in Hebrew, English and Mandarin.

The team
Our team in China includes Chinese, US and Israeli attorneys that have extensive experience providing comprehensive legal advice to Israeli and international companies and investors in China, the US and Israel. It is this experience that provides for a true understanding of the needs and challenges facing Israeli and international companies in doing business in China, and Chinese companies interested in establishing a business presence in Israel.

The diverse team of legal professionals allows us to bridge cultural, business and legal gaps between China and the West.

Clients
The firm’s China offices lead substantial and complex projects, often on behalf of leading Israeli and international companies to whom we provide legal services across all of China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

Expertise
Regulation in China is complex and rapidly changing. Our experience on behalf of foreign companies operating in China enables us to get the most out of legal and administrative proceedings on their behalf.

Our clients benefit from all legal and commercial aspects of doing business in China, including: locating potential investors and business partners; negotiations with the authorities for securing permits and licenses and establishing legal entities and ongoing representation.

In addition, we represent Chinese clients in connection with their activity in Israel, including establishing legal entities, due diligence of Israeli companies, mergers and acquisitions, investment activity in Israel, tax planning advice and more.
